Westcott St. Cultural Fair Sunday 9/15 12-6:30 PM

Westcott FairSeptember in Syracuse of course means the return of thousands of college students, resumption of local high school football games, the sudden appearance of colorful mums, and of course the Westcott St. Cultural Fair!

There’s no better place to be on Sunday, Sept. 15th from 12-6:30 if you are looking for great local music and artists.  This fair, now in its 22nd year, whose mission is to celebrate the “diversity and uniqueness of the Westcott neighborhood,” showcases the arts, food and services that so many from the area enjoy daily.

From belly dancing to kid’s yoga, from drum circles to Flamenco, if you are not tapping your foot and boogying, you are probably nibbling from the eclectic food of area restaurants.  Learn more about local services, enter the kids in races on Victoria Pl., or just sit back and take it all in.  Syracuse is a great city with many wonderful neighborhoods, and the Westcott St. Cultural Fair shows just how wonderful those neighborhoods can be.  Send us photos of your favorite fair event or share what you think makes Westcott St. so special.
