Lakeside Views Historic Fall Ghostwalk

The summer heat is gone and the air is crisp with the scent of autumn.  The leaves are turning vibrant colors.  To me, these changes herald the festive season ahead.  Up first, of course, is Halloween – my personal favorite holiday.  But Halloween weather in Central New York can sometimes be questionable.  In fact, I can recall a few years of trick-or-treating in the snow!  Get in the spirit of Halloween early this year and enjoy this beautiful weather while it lasts.

The Onondaga Historical Association is hosting a “scare-free” Ghostwalk on Fridays and Saturdays for the next two weekends.  The history-themed walk meets at the Liverpool Methodist Church, then takes an hour and a half long stroll through the past.  The charming lakeside village of Liverpool provides a lovely fall backdrop for this peek into history.
